Please refer to the attached technical bulletin which explains the importance of combining the DC ground pin with the earth pin in the Switch Mode power supply (SMPS) to avoid malfunctioning of equipment caused by Electromagnetic interference/noise generated from the AC power / Environment. This is a compulsory modification to be carried out in the Field machine.
